The steel used in our knives is high carbon steel (1075)
and low carbon steel (4340 alloy, low carbon up to 0.4% and nickel 1.7%)
and is genuine Damascus not acid stained stainless steel. The hardness of
our 200 layer Damascus steel is tested and it is 52-56 Rockwell.
About wood used in our knives handles.
Thin layers of natural American hardwoods, resins and dyes are embedded
in the wood under an extreme heat-pressure process to form a perfect handle
material. Deep vibrant colors,highly visible grain and variations in wood
structure make each piece one of a kind.
